The meniscus is a layer of cartilage in the knee that has several important functions it helps among other things to absorb shock when walking and running. The meniscus provides also stability to the knee in cooperation with ligaments and tendons. A meniscus that is torn needs often surgery and less severe meniscus tears can take 4–8 weeks to heal. The rehabilitation is often split into 4 phases guided preferably by a therapist or trainer.

  • The aim of phase 3 of a meniscus tear and this actual rehabilitation program is to ensure that ROM in the knee is regained and normal strength with the ability to perform more strenuous exercises like squats and getting back to running and more normal training.
  • Exercises are more or less aiming to increase the number of repetitions, sets, and loads.
  • Activities like running, swimming, and cycling in addition to more sports-specific exercises are now reachable. 
  • Phase 3 introduces changing of direction (COD) backward running, jumping, hopping, and kicking.

You will follow our workout in the app Byrizz on your smartphone. In the app you will find the workout and perform it any time you want.

How to join:
1. Click the workout you want and then the buy button.
2. As a first step you will have to login with your account or create a new one if you don't have one already. This is the account your purchase will be connected to.
