High-force eccentric contractions, excessive stretching, and muscle fatigue can cause acute quadriceps strain injuries. Common in sports like soccer, rugby, and football, these injuries result from sudden deceleration, violent contraction, or rapid deceleration of an overstretched muscle. This clinical grading system for muscle strains considers pain, loss of strength, and physical exam findings to guide treatment and rehabilitation. Grade I (mild) strains affect a limited number of muscle fibers. There is no decrease in strength, and the range of motion is fully active and passive. Grade II (moderate) strains involve nearly half of the torn muscle fibers. This causes acute pain and swelling and a slight decrease in muscle strength. The muscle tendon is almost ruptured. Grade III (severe) strains result in a complete muscle rupture. Severe swelling and pain and a complete loss of function are characteristic of this strain type. Longer rehabilitation is needed. You will follow our workout in the app Byrizz on your smartphone. In the app you will find the workout and perform it any time you want.

How to join:
